Ethos Engineering are delighted to announce that we have achieved verification certification against PAS 1192-2 covering design and construction for BIM Level 2.

The certification was developed by BSI (British Standards Institution) to help designers and contractors, as well as their supply chains, provide evidence that they had the capability to deliver projects using Building Information Modelling (BIM). To achieve verification from BSI, designers at Ethos Engineering had to demonstrate that they adhere to the requirements of the PAS 1192-2 standard through an independent assessment by BSI.

The assessment involved an onsite audit which assessed the documented procedures and systems for all processes in PAS 1192-2, which also included compliance with BS 1192 and BS 1192-4, as well as the competency of staff.

Achieving BIM Level 2 verification displays our commitment to continuous improvement and our capability to deliver projects using the highest level of Building Information Modelling (BIM).

“Having been early adopters of BIM since 2006, Ethos Engineering has sought to remain at the forefront of developing BIM processes & procedures, as one of only a few consultants in Ireland to receive BSI verification, our clients and supply chain can be confident that our working methods have been independently and rigorously assessed.”

There are huge benefits to be made from integrating BIM into the supply chain, and BSI is dedicated to supporting organizations with this, regardless of where they are on their BIM journey.”
