Project Description
The Google Docks project involved the fit-out of a 14-floor (22,500m2), office building for Google as their EMEA Headquarters.
The building is the centre of the Google campus strategy in Dublin with services infrastructure links to adjacent Google-occupied buildings (Gordon House & Gasworks).
The project commenced in August 2011 and was completed in 2013, with total refurbishment costs estimated at €25 million, of which M&E costs make up €14 million.

Ethos Engineering was responsible for the M&E design and construction monitoring.
Unique / Key Features
The project was the first awarded LEED Platinum in Ireland and the largest individual space certified. As a result, the installed systems are highly efficient with a total consumption figure of 40w/m2 for a fully air-conditioned space.
