Project Description
Grant Thornton is relocating to a new flagship high-grade Headquarters in 13-18 City Quay which is currently at the Handover stage. This building consists of 9 stories over a single basement on a brownfield site. The building steps down from a height of 9 stories to 5 stories at the river frontage providing a series of generous roof terraces that boast unrivaled views. This building is regarded as a prime development and fitting a corporation such as Grant Thornton. It is a new landmark addition to Dublin’s skyline with panoramic views of the River Liffey and iconic works of Dublin Architecture.
Ethos Input
For this prestigious project Ethos was employed as part of the main fit-out team to provide the Mechanical and Electrical services design and construction monitoring. This also included technical due diligence and continuous liaising with the landlord’s design team to ensure the Shell and Core elements complimented the proposed fit-out. Ethos was also responsible for providing the Audio Visual services design for the project which included high specification Video Conferencing facilities.
Unique / Key Features
The fit-out incorporates a gym at ground floor level, canteen/kitchen on 5th and 6th floors, collaboration/meeting spaces, the client-facing floor on level 6 with client lounge, winter room, main board room, training facilities, and an overall building population of 1,500 people.
