Project Description
The PAR8 Data Centre facility consists of 4 buildings namely PAR8, 9, 10 & 11. Each building has an IT capacity of 19.2MW which will be deployed across 3 floors of data halls. The total site IT load is 76.8MW.

Ethos was responsible for the full M&E design services right through to detailed design. The project includes:

Electrical Systems
• 3 separate utility grid connections (Enedis/RTE)
• MV/MV transformers consisting of 20/12.0kV, 20MVA, step-down
• MV/LV transformers, consisting of 12.0/0.42kV, 4MVA, step-down
• 2286kVA/1829kW diesel engine generator plant
• Bulk fuel storage and distribution system
• Power backbone infrastructure
• Earthing system, TN-C/TN-S, lightning protection system
• UPS power distribution, PMS monitoring system
• Generator control system and site switching system
• Fully addressable normal and emergency lighting
• Security systems
• Fire detection and protection, including fire suppression
• Leakage detection and structured cabling
Mechanical Systems
• Water cooled chillers
• CGM’s with chiller integration and hybrid dry cooler integration
• CRAH cooling
• Ventilation and humidity control systems
• Inergen fire suppression system
• Struxureware BMS
• Dedicated smoke extraction systems for data halls and battery rooms
